The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives experienced a downward trend during early trading today.
As of 9:37 AM, the January 2025 contract dropped by 2.5 points to 1,635.50, while the February 2025 contract declined by 5.5 points to 1,636.0. The March 2025 contract saw a fall of 6.0 points to 1,618.0, and the June 2025 contract decreased by 4.5 points to 1,624.5.
A total of 1,382 lots were traded, with open interest standing at 38,914 contracts.
Meanwhile, the benchmark FBM KLCI posted a modest gain of 0.80 points, reaching 1,633.67, compared to the previous close of 1,632.87 after 37 minutes of trading.
