FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI Futures Mostly Higher in Early Trading

The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBNM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives showed a positive trend in early trading today.

At 9:49 a.m., the November 2024 contract saw an increase of 1.5 points, reaching 1,596.0, while the December 2024 contract rose by 0.5 points to 1,599.5. Conversely, the March 2025 contract dropped by 1.5 points to 1,586.0, while the June 2025 contract remained flat at 1,596.0.

Trading volume stood at 1,266 lots, with open interest recorded at 35,977 contracts.

Meanwhile, the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) climbed 5.63 points to 1,598.07 as of 9:49 a.m., compared to its previous closing figure of 1,592.44 on Friday.
