Crude Oil Futures Decline Amid Low Demand

Crude oil futures fell by Rs 90 to settle at Rs 6,233 per barrel in Monday’s trading session, as market participants adjusted their positions in response to diminished demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for November delivery recorded a decrease of Rs 90, reflecting a 1.42 percent decline, with a total of 2,397 lots traded.

In international markets, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was down 1.35 percent, trading at USD 74.54 per barrel, while Brent crude also experienced a decline of 1.33 percent, priced at USD 77.99 per barrel in New York.
