Saudi Arabia’s General Food Security Authority (GFSA) announced on Monday that it has successfully purchased approximately 920,000 metric tons of wheat through an international tender. This figure surpasses the 595,000 tons initially sought in the tender process.
The wheat was acquired at an average cost of $276.37 per ton, including cost and freight (c&f), in line with earlier reports from traders. The purchase was for hard wheat with a protein content of 12.5%.
