Futures reports a notable rise in trading activity across several key commodities.
Gold futures demonstrated a robust trading volume of 331,294 lots, reflecting an increase of 16,514 lots from the previous day. Open interest also climbed, reaching 594,767 lots—up by 14,905 lots.
Silver futures experienced a significant surge as well, with trading volume hitting 104,461 lots, a rise of 29,002 lots from the prior trading session. However, open interest fell slightly, totaling 165,219 lots, a decrease of 1,422 lots.
Copper futures saw a trading volume of 88,877 lots, an increase of 8,893 lots compared to the previous day. Conversely, open interest dropped to 267,628 lots, down by 2,702 lots.
These developments reflect ongoing fluctuations in the commodities market, as traders respond to varying economic signals.
