Gold prices in Malaysia saw a notable increase on Tuesday, reflecting a steady upward trend in precious metal markets.
The price of gold rose to 490.12 Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) per gram, up from MYR 481.95 recorded on Monday. Similarly, the price per tola climbed to MYR 5,716.49, compared to MYR 5,621.37 the previous day.
Other unit prices also reflected the upward movement:
10 grams: MYR 4,901.05
Troy ounce: MYR 15,244.93
The rise in gold prices aligns with global market sentiments, as investors continue to seek safe-haven assets amid ongoing economic uncertainties.
