Bank of Japan (BOJ) Governor Kazuo Ueda is set to travel to Washington from Tuesday through Sunday to participate in the G20 finance leaders’ gathering and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) annual spring meetings, the central bank confirmed on Monday.
Ueda’s visit comes ahead of the BOJ’s upcoming two-day rate review scheduled for April 30 to May 1, during which the bank will release updated quarterly growth and inflation forecasts.
