CME Cash Prices For Dairy Products Climb Higher

Cash dairy prices experienced mostly upward movement on Wednesday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange amid subdued demand.

Dry whey saw an increase of $0.0050, closing at $0.48.

Blocks rose by $0.0025 to settle at $1.9375. Trading activity involved five sales within the range of $1.9375 to $1.9475.

Barrels held steady at $2.01, with three transactions occurring at $2.01 and $2.0125.

Butter prices remained unchanged at $3.1050 per pound.

Nonfat dry milk prices declined by $0.01 to finish at $1.19 per pound. Trading volume included eleven transactions ranging from $1.1875 to $1.1975.

Overall, the market reflected modest gains in dry whey and blocks, while barrels, butter, and nonfat dry milk prices remained stable or slightly decreased amidst current market conditions.
